The university’s Careers Service and Work Experience Hub support students in finding and applying for jobs, placements, and internships (both on-campus and with external employers), and offer guidance on career planning, CV preparation, and interview skills.
GCU also runs the MINT Programme (Mentoring, Internships, Networking and Talks), which helps recent graduates access mentoring, paid internships and networking events with employers to enhance employability.
Students at Glasgow Caledonian University are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during official vacations, in line with UK student visa regulations.
